Copper Winding Wire is the main type of winding wire, which consists of a conductor and an insulating layer. Bare wire is annealed and softened, then painted and baked many times. However, it is not easy to produce products that meet both standard requirements and customer requirements. It is affected by raw material quality, process parameters, production equipment, environment, and other factors. Therefore, the quality characteristics of various enameled wires are different, but they all have four major properties: mechanical properties, chemical properties, electrical properties, and thermal properties.
Generally speaking, copper winding wires can be divided into:
1. General-purpose enameled wire (ordinary wire): mainly used for general motors, electrical appliances, and meters. Winding wires for transformer and other work occasions.
2. Heat-resistant enameled wire: it is mainly used for winding wires of motors, electrical appliances, instruments, transformers and other working occasions operating at 180℃ and above.
3. Enameled wire for a special purpose: refers to the enameled wire with certain quality characteristics, which is used for winding wire on specific occasions.
After copper winding is wound into a coil, it usually goes through the dipping process. The solvent in dipping paint has a swelling effect on paint film in different degrees, especially at the higher temperatures. During the use of the impregnated winding, the paint film may be thermally cracked due to heat, so the compatibility between the impregnated paint and enameled wire paint film has a great impact on the service life of motors, electrical appliances, and meters. During use, the winding may contact with various surrounding media, such as refrigerant in refrigeration equipment and various chemical gases in chemical plants. These media have different degrees of corrosion to the paint film, and salt fog can also produce chemical corrosion to enameled wires of electrical products on marine ships, etc. Therefore, the paint film of copper winding wire is required to have better chemical stability.
