Selection of Motor Enameled Wire

Polyvinyl acetate enamelled copper wires belong to class B, while modified polyvinyl acetate enamelled copper wires belong to class F. They are widely used in the windings of class B and class F motors. They have good mechanical properties and high heat resistance. High speed winding machines can be used to wind coils, but the thermal shock resistance and moisture resistance of polyvinyl acetate enamelled copper wires are poor.

Polyacetamide enameled copper wire is an H-class insulated wire with good heat resistance, wear resistance, oil resistance, styrene resistance, and resistance to 2 fluoro-12. However, its resistance to fluorine 22 is poor. In closed systems, contact with fluorine containing materials such as chloroprene rubber and polyvinyl chloride should be avoided, and suitable heat resistant grade impregnating paint should be selected.

Polyacetamide imide enameled copper wire is a Class C insulated wire with excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and fluorine 22 resistance.

Polyimide enameled copper wire is a Class C insulated wire widely used in motor windings that are resistant to high temperature, extreme cold, and radiation. It has a high operating temperature, can withstand significant temperature fluctuations, and has chemical, oil, solvent, and fluorine-12 and fluorine-22 resistance. However, its paint film has poor wear resistance, so high-speed winding machines are not suitable for winding. Additionally, it is not alkali resistant. The use of organic silicon impregnating paint and aromatic polyimide impregnating paint can achieve good performance.

Wrapped wire has high electrical, mechanical, and moisture resistance properties. Its insulation layer is thicker than that of enameled wire, with strong mechanical wear resistance and overload capacity.

Wrapped wire includes thin film wrapped wire, glass fiber wrapped wire, glass fiber wrapped enameled wire, etc.

There are two types of film wrapping wires: polyvinyl acetate film wrapping wire and polyimide film wrapping wire. There are two types of fiberglass wire: single fiberglass wire and double fiberglass wire. In addition, due to the different adhesive insulation paints used for impregnation treatment, there are two types of impregnation: alkyd adhesive paint impregnation and silicone organic adhesive paint impregnation.
